August Ames was a pornstar who was born in August 1994 and hailed from Nova Scotia, Canada. She first appeared in adult productions starting in 2013, where a number of world-famous studios recruited her to appear in scenes for HD Love, Fantasy HD, Real Slut Party, and Passion HD. In 2015, she was given the March award for Twistys Treat of the Month, and the following year, she received the company’s esteemed title of Treat of the Year. Companies were fast to assess her worth, as was her legion of devoted fans. In 2017, she was given the AVN Fan Award for Most Spectacular Boobs. A few days before her death, Ames was the target of extensive harassment on Twitter as a result of the fact that she stated that she was unwilling to co-star with a male model that had previously done gay porn. In an extensive post on Ames’ website in January 2018, Kevin Moore, August Ames’ husband, directly attributed bullying as the cause of Ames’ decision to end her life.

Though she is no longer a beautiful presence on Earth, there is much to be celebrated about this starlet’s time in the industry. She was cast in more than 270 films and must be remembered as the talent she truly was. August Ames’ real name is Mercedes Grabowski, and she should be regaled for her adult industry accolades as well as how spectacular Mercedes Grabowski was. In an Adult DVD Talk interview, she described her personal life by stating, “I love going to the beach, even though I haven’t been there for a while. I love having lunch dates with my friends.
